Chicken stew is an easy, filling and healthy meal that’s convenient; and easy to make in bulk when cooking for a family. When in need of leftovers to take to work–that can be microwaved in a minute and a half– homemade stew is a great route to go. Remember that chicken stew is a dish you can improvise with. Quite frankly, you can put anything you want in your stew; as long as chicken broth and chicken are incorporated. It has to taste good if chicken is involved right? Listed below is a fun recipe I got a little creative with. Your taste buds will not be disappointed!
Ingredients: Chicken wings, store bought chicken broth, Hillshire Farm hot-links, and broccoli.
1. Bake chicken wings for an hour at 350 degrees with Lawry’s seasoned salt and garlic pepper.
2. Heat store bought chicken broth in pot until it begins to boil.
3. Cut Hillshire Farm hotlinks in small slices.
4. Put broccoli, hot link slices and cooked chicken wings in broth. Let stew cook for 10-15 minutes.
Tip: I recommend serving stew with brown or white rice.
Enjoy your spicy-flavorsome homemade chicken stew!
