El Tejano Restaurant invited us for a food tasting last week, and of course we accepted the invitation. The fun Tex Mex restaurant has only been open for a few weeks, but so far, people are loving the hospitable indoor/outdoor restaurant. Below are the menu items we tasted, as well as our reviews of each Mexican delicacy.
My favorite taco of the night! The Potato Taco (pictured above) offered a brilliant combination of sour cream, pico de gallo, cabbage slaw, guacamole, and sour cream. SO good ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
The Baja Fish Taco topped with cabbage slaw, pico de gallo, de arbor aioli, and Miguel’s XXX sauce. This taco was very tasty and I loved the texture and freshness of the fish ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
The Brisket Taco served with smoked brisket, Texas BBQ, cabbage slaw, guacamole, and de arbor aioli – this taco had a subtle, spicy kick to it….and I liked it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
The Smoked Jalapeno Deviled Eggs were a pretty appetizer; but let’s just say it’s best to stick with Tex Mex cuisine when you eat at a Tex Mex restaurant lol ⭐️⭐️⭐️.
El Tejano is a fantastic restaurant with an extremely fun, and inviting atmosphere. I recommend the Northern Hollywood location for parties, boys/girls nights, happy hour and events! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
